Winter's here!! Which means lots of dry, peeling, and cracked skin. Many people experience dry and cracked skin during the winter, usually on their hands, however even if you don't see any visible peeling or dry skin, this doesn't mean your skin doesn't need moisture. Here are some tips and products to help your skin keep healthy throughout the colder seasons. *NOT JUST FOR GIRLS!!*

1. Exfoliating
Exfoliating is the process of taking off dead skin either using a scrub, peel, mask, or a special exfoliating tool. Many people think that just putting on moisturizer on cracked skin will heal it, but the dead skin has to come off first. Here are a few scrubs I use to make sure the dead skin is gone, while still being gentle on my face. Make sure to always moisturize after you exfoliate.

This is a scrub I use when my skin is very very cracked, because it is a little bit more rough, and leaves my face dry. It cleans everything up though, and is great to use once in a while when your face needs a little extra exfoliation.

This scrub is great because it's gentle, but gets the job done. I use this one every week and it smells great too. I recommend this as a part of your skin care routine not only during the winter, but year round as well.
Facial Moisturizer
It's important to moisturize your face every single day during the winter, as each day going out in the cold your skin will become dry even if you don't see it! A great way to add moisturizer into your routine is using it with foundation. I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer with the Revlon Colorstay Foundation.

Body/Hands Moisturizer
Just as it's important to moisturize your face, the rest of your body needs it just as much, especially your hands. Here are my favorite products:
Shea Butter Phytorelax: $17.50

Lips
Finally, your lips need a lot of care as well. During the winter, if you wet your lips and it's cold, they usually end up drying out and cracking. Use these products to help you beat dry lips:
Lipsmackers: $1-$3

That's it! I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Please comment in the comment section what you would like to see next. I'm thinking a motivational/relationship post. Let me know!! And don't forget to subscribe!!
